The office of the Infrastructure was established in 1999 and caters to the needs of the following.

The Director (IS) office caters to the most crucial and general infrastructural needs of the Osmania University including its constituent colleges.
The IS office processes the e procurements, Gem procurements and all other offline procurements and tenders processing apart from preparation of minutes of related meetings.
This office also takes care of AMCs related to its office.
This office also takes care the maintainence of telephone intercoms connectivity to all OU campus colleges, depts,centers etc.
This IS office also takes care of the maintainece of Tagore Auditorium.
The OU Command control center where live CCTVs data throughout Campus are recorded and maintained by this office , including the installation of new CCTVs.
Any other procurement requirements from OU constituent colleges are also taken up by this IS office.
